Balanchine is a silk crepe in Ivory colour with a dreamy tulle overskirt hand-embroidered in France. The overskirt is just magical! Traced speckles of butterflies/hearts and rose pattern is carried over along the length of the overskirt train. The sheer back is traced with a delicate rose pattern, same as the cap sleeves.
This dress is stunning, comfortable to move around in, and it photographs really well. It’s lightweight, modern yet romantic, deep v-neck tulle/crepe dress that hugs in all the right places
It has been altered by a professional bridal (All alterations in D8). She added on cups into the dress, since I couldn’t wear a bra - this can be easily removed/refitted. The skirt has a small button and loop bustle inside to lift the train to walk around. It was also adjusted around the waist as I have large hips but small breasts and waist.
It’d fit a size small. I’m 1,63 and I wore 10cm hills on the day.
I wore a second dress at the party that I can give with it.
